2019 Completed Initiatives

- Building 8 unit Teachers' residential building to alleviate their accommodations but also to attract solid teachers
- ​Building 4 additional classrooms to accommodate students
- Establish "Teachers Educational Fund" to provide scholarships for the recruitment and education of teachers

2020 Ongoing Projects...

- Construction of High School at St. Joseph in Garam began in late spring. It will be a two story building with classrooms, a science lab, office and store room

Initiatives

2012-2013 Completed Initiatives

- Complete a building with 8 classrooms
- Enough space for 336 students to learn, providing them a bridge to a better future
- Built 2 wells which provide clean water for more than 800 students and their communities - Built 176 desks, seating for 352 students - Built 14 teachers’ desks and chairs - Provide over a ton (literally) of school and medical supplies - Shipped 27 boxes of books to these schools - Set up a small library with 4 tables, 8 benches and bookcases - Built 8 picnic tables to get lunch off the ground - Built restroom facilities
- During the 2012 mission trip, an Omaha dentist supported the fluoride treatments for more than 300 children.

2018 Completed Initiatives

- An annex school of 4 classrooms in Kutako Village to promote
early childhood education - Provided 80 desks for the 4 classrooms
- Built two wells to provide clean water to serve the students and
the communities.
​- Installed drainage system to protect classrooms and - eliminate erosion.
- Built volleyball/basketball court at St Joseph school in Garam
- Renovated bathroom facilities at both Divine Mercy in Erena and St Joseph
in Garam.
​- Provided tuition assistance to over 80 students through our "TAP" program which is ongoing yearly.

2014-2015 Completed Initiatives

- $16,000 spent on Kitchen to provide lunches for over 500 students
- $13,500 spent on restrooms for over 400 students

2016 - 2017 Completed Initiatives

- $86,300 for 6 new classrooms to ease the overcrowding, making room for 252 students at Divine Mercy School Erena - $42,000 for 3 new classrooms to accommodate 126 students at St. Joseph School Garam
